We started in Columbia, South Carolina as National Aluminum Company in 1957. Started by Don Yarnell, National Aluminum Company was one of the first businesses to begin selling this wonderful new product called Aluminum Siding. Many of these jobs are still in existence protecting homes today. As times changed and lead was removed from paint products, a new product called vinyl siding emerged. Hence, when I purchased National Aluminum Company in 1989, the name was changed to National Aluminum and Vinyl Siding, Inc. to better reflect the new siding products available."
